Action Research
Shodh acknowledges research as an indispensable component of all action programme. Research not only gives a vivid understanding of the exact dimensions of problems and issues, it also bridges the gaps in existing information-base, which goes a long way in policy formulation and programme design for specific target groups. Shodh has already carried out action research on issues of rural local self-governance, low cost housing for resettlement colony and domestic workers.
Technical Support
As a true advocate of the cause of research for long-term sustainable development, Shodh commits itself to providing technical support to other organizations as well as assisting them in capacity building. Shodh has worked in collaboration with several organizations including CASA and HPS Foundation in providing technical expertise through design and execution of research.
Apart from this, Shodh Documentation Centre collects, collates and compiles information from articles, periodicals, reports, research findings on several urban and rural issues which the organization also commits to share and disseminate for mass sensitization
